Supplies Needed
Sewing and Knitting Project Supplies:
- Fabric
- Colored Sheets
- Small Buttons
- Baby Sweaters – pattern available
Kit Supplies:
- Receiving Blankets – medium-weight cotton or flannel, or crocheted or knitted with lightweight yarn, up to 52” square
- Baby Shirts – lightweight, cotton, sizes 12 to 24 months
- Sleepers – long- or short-sleeved gowns or sleepers without feet, sizes 12 to 24 months
- Hand Towels – dark color recommended
- Soap – bath-size bars (8 to 9 ounces), any brand, in original wrapping
- Diaper Pins
- Baby Caps to go with sweaters. Or hooded jackets or sweatshirts
- Notebooks – 70-sheet notebooks of wide or college-ruled paper about 8” x 10-1/2”. No loose leaf paper.
- Scissors – blunt, safety scissors with embedded steel blades work well
- Rulers – 30 centimeter, or with inches and centimeters
- Pencil Sharpeners – small, plastic, hand-held
- Pencils – unsharpened #2 with eraser
- Pens – black or blue ballpoint, no gel ink
- Erasers – 2-1/2”
- Crayons – new boxes of 16 or 24 count
- Bath Towels – new, light-weight, dark color recommended (between 20” x 40” and 52” X 27”)
- Toothbrushes – adult size, in original wrapping
- Winter Hats, Scarves & Mittens – purchased or handmade
Other supplies we purchase with our fundraising dollars: Quilt Batting, Cloth Diapers, Yarn, Cloth Bags, Combs, Nail Clippers
